IS MEMBERSHIP NEEDED TO JOIN SMUDC? WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?

There is no membership, fees, nor minimum commitment required to attend weekly sessions and events. You’re welcome to join us whenever you are free!

WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKLY SESSIONS LIKE? HOW ARE THEY HELD?

Each week, we invite speakers from various backgrounds which includes current students, alumni, corporate guest speakers and Venerables (monks) to conduct a sharing on a topic related to the Buddha’s teaching, or a topic students are familiar with. E.g. School, work-life balance, finance, mental health.

How the session will be held will be up to the speaker, it could be a one-way sharing, it could be interactive, or a mixture of both. There are opportunities to raise up any questions you want to be addressed by the speaker at every session.
