SMUDC Temple Tour: Mangala Vihara

Monasteries and temples offer a peaceful place for us to engage in Buddhism—the serenity inspires us to partake in the practices that we might otherwise neglect in our everyday lives. 😌

This coming recess week, SMUDC is blessed to announce a temple tour of Mangala Vihara, or the Shrine of Blessings, a temple dedicated to providing Buddhist education for the public with programs available for all ages.

Besides a physical tour of the place introducing us to the history and symbolism of its architecture, there will be activities such as incense offerings and sutta recitations, before the tour concludes with a Q&A session with the temple's resident monk. Whether you want to learn more or are simply exploring Buddhism, we'd love to have you join us! All are welcome 🙏😇
