About the event

"Doomscrolling" has become a modern habit—an unhealthy refuge we often turn to in times of stress. Buddhism, however, offers a gentler path: inward reflection through mindfulness.

Join us on 23 July as SMUDC is grateful to invite Siling Tongkhor Rinpoche, a Tibetan monk from India, who will share practical meditation techniques that we can apply in our daily lives in navigating our emotions.

The session will also feature Rinpoche sharing a simple meditative practice of making symbolic water offerings to the Buddha. This serves as a short, cheap & simple mindfulness practice that helps us experience the joy of giving and contentment amidst our busy lives.
